About to order a NanoQ setup for my DC. The recomendation calls for the bulk head adaptor. Am i going to have to drill a dedicated hole for this? Or does the adaptor replace one of the vents on the bottom?

Looks like i will have to drill a hole. My guess would be that i neds to be between the grate and bottom of the smoker. I wonder how much ash this would kick up?
