| I purchased a digiq dx at the Big Green Egg store in Tucker. I used it for the first time 2 weeks ago. The back won't allow me to attach the stand. I contacted the company and was told I would get a call back. I didn't. I called again and was told they will mail me a new back and stand, they didn't. I bought the guru with one of the reasons being customer care. Well obviously that isn't the case. I am very disappointed that I bought one of these as unless I make my own contraption to hold it so I can use it I need to lay it down like a deck of cards. The customer service has as you can tell been less than optimal. I recommended the guru to 5 friends who have BGE's. Fortunately only one of them has purchased it(his works fine). I have told the others if they are lucky they might get one that works. If they feel like making an almost $300 bet to see if they get a working one to go for it. I will not be recommending it anymore. |

It's hit or miss with the Guru and the people behind it. My DigiQII has been very unreliable. Customer support is just as bad. I recently bought a Stoker and only used once so far but it worked perfectly. _________________ If your already walking on thin ice you might as well dance.
